Default SV650 - Curling edition

Don't suppose anyone wants a SV650 for parts do they or know of anyone who wants a project? Came off on Friday (guy pulled out in front, snatched at the brake and front end slipped out and turned it into a puck)

I'm gonna be off the road for a few weeks until I find a replacement and replace my damage kit

Damage: Right hand side took a battering althou the crash bung did it's job. Fairing marked, right brake lever, right handlebar, right brake pedal, rear passenger footpeg and exhaust took some scratches. Engine still good and rides ok (nursed it back after the fall)

It's not been put through insurance as I'm TPFT cover (long story - don't ask) and haven't managed to obtain other details

2004 K3 model with less than 12k on the clock. Let me know

Sorry to hear about your spill mate, glad your ok.

Don't be too hasty in getting shot of the bike, damage sounds relatively minor and might not be too bad to sort out with some second hand spare parts.

Yeah - felt little stiff in the morning but shrugged that off.
Just want it gone now. Even with the 2nd hand bits, I'm putting repairs around £500-£700 depending on how available parts are.

£500 sounds a bit steep from your description. If you can live with the scratches on the fairing, the other bits can be found cheap. I've got a spare brake lever if you need it, stick a request for the other parts in the wanted section you might be surprised by this sites generosity.
PM TheOnlyNemesis, he's got a spare SV in his garden that may have some compatible parts.
