Try looking on Svrider.com ive seen more single sided conversions on there.

I cant recall anyone doing a single sided conversion on the Org.

That's TygaBoys old bike. From what I can remember he sold it a year or so back, and I think the new owner since moved it on. But I could be wrong on that.

If you are looking to do this sort of conversion it comes down to measurements. SSSA measurements are usually easy to find as they are used so often in projects so its just a case of measuring up the SV frame and shock offset in simplest terms. Things like drive chain offset gets more difficult but shouldn't put you off and then arm pivot sizing can be altered with bearing changes or machining sleeves or spacers. Linkage and shock alterations is probably the most difficult part. However if you are an engineer or know of a good one who is handy with the welder anything within reason can be made or adapted to fit.

The theory is both difficult and simple. It depends on how much effort you want to put into it. My advice is to get the swingarm you want to use along with the wheel and as much extra you can get. Then offer it up and see where the problems might be. Worse case you just stick the hardware back on eBay as someone is always looking for a SSSA for a project...

i'd have thought the vfr400 tyre size was to narrow 150/60 R18 as a first choice for a sssa

I'm not an engineer and my welding skills are.. Well they're ok, but i wouldn't trust myselfe with tempering such an important part of the bike. The other problem is the wheel. It's rim is too damn ugly for my bike.. So i guess i'll have to find something else. Anyway i got some good advices and i'm thankful for all your help
