Default fairing lowers on curvy model..??

Hmmm..

just finished rebuilding SV for my girlfriend, still don't think she's rumbled that it's a good spares bike for my racing next year...!!

anyway..
fitted the fairing lowers and couldn't help noticing that there appears to be mountings for a 'V' piece of some sort that goes in the front of the fairing lowers...

is there one....??

Any help appreciated..

Reggie

No....

Got those parts...

meant a 'V' piece that goes between each fairing lower and covers the exhaust etc..

there are mountings on the front of each lower that look like they're supposed to have a grommet through them and attach to something..??

Perhaps another bracket that I don't have..??

Cheers

The only part of the lowers that conected to each other is at the very bottom, just in front of the downpipe/rear of front wheel. They are connected using 3 nuts and bolts. There is no bracket of any type for this bit.

Am i thinking of the right part now

Sound like you are missing a bracket like Carl PO51 MYV describes. I went and had a look at mine... found the braket wasn't connected to the fairing on on side! Will sort that out soon. Don't suppose it wound matter to much if its there or not as they're secured well in other places.

But I've got to say having looked at my bike closely and seen the mesh on WelshWop's bike, could always make something...

yep...

It seems that it may be missing the bracket then...
I don't have a bracket attached to the rad at all..

The girlfriend has ridden it now and it seems ok and quite solid..

Does anybody have a bracket..?? or a picture of one...???

Cheers
Alan
