Default no clutch

i lost my clutch on the weekend the lever just went "sloppy". i have wound the adjuster on the lever all the way out but there is still a lot of play.
i have tried to adjust it on the clutch but its just spining so i need to take the cover off & investigate
can it be adjusted here or not?

Take off the front sprocket cover (You will need to take off the point where the gear lever connects just beside it so you can get it off)

See if your cable's broken.

Sid Squid did an excellent clutch adjustment post have a search for it.

Yes it can be adjusted from beneath the front sprocket cover. And while you have the cover off check the clutch worm. My clutch problem was due to the worm, the one that failed had alot of play in it, the one I put in had none. The free play was by pushing the clutch selector in the worm. If that is ok and you can adjust it at that side to get the right amount of clutch leaver adjustment it may be worth greasing it while your down there.

Its quite easy to do and I clean and grease all of the worm parts each time I'm down there.

Something does not add up there indicating either a mistake in adjustment or other issues.
