Ok so the range is 150 miles and it takes 2 hours minimum to charge.....

With the SV I've got 155 miles from the tank, then 5 minutes to re-fill then you're off again.....

You'd get a lot further on the SV in the time you have, you'll look better, sound better and probably be more comfortable by the look of it.

Plus what's the point in extreme acceleration if you cant make a lot of noise doing it?

Have another think about that one...

If the total output from the power station is (for example) 1000MW and assuming each conversion is 90% efficient:

1000MW - 10% = 900MW
900MW - 10% = 810MW
810MW - 10% = 729MW
729MW - 10% = 656.1MW = 65.61% of the original output.
etc etc.

Hydrogen is where its gonna be. All this money is being wasted on electric anything. Honda have the FCX Clarity and thats where the future is.

the only way electric bikes or cars are every going to catch on is if they perfect the hydrogen making process, people just arnt going to put up with having to recharge every 150mls.

Indeed, totally agree, although I thought it was Toyota?

Also, 150 mile range, sure at 5% throttle constent. Now put that on a twisty B road and watch that drop to about 80 miles

100lb/ft and 150mph on a bike that probably doesnt weigh that much has to be fun!

Personally, as you dont need to have gear box, hence no need for the motor to be where the engine would be, I would rather see "pancake" motors used at the hubs of the wheels for the motive power.

And yes, I said wheels, front and rear wheel drive please.

pedant indeed

0.9^4 ~0.59

considering the power station is only ~50% efficient to begin with the point is kind of moot anyway

now what if you could just drop your battery off in a recharge station, pick another one up and carry on?
