Lathe
Anyone interested in owning a lathe? Not specifically bike related, but you can make yourself all sorts of cool parts.
I've got one that I regrettably need to sell (single garage and running out of space to store bicycles etc). It a Boxford Industrial 280 metric screwcutting lathe. Loads of extra bits to go with it. No recent pics but here it was loaded up on it's way to me when I bought it: It has it's original 3ph motor but it's set up with an inverter to run off household single phase (which also gives it infinitely variable speed). Anyhow I'm looking for £1500 which is I think cheaper than I've seen one sell for. If you're interested, or know anyone who might be, PM and I'll get some pics and details together.

Re: Lathe
Like you no space. I started to serve my time as a tool maker so spent plenty of time driving lathes, milling machines, shapers, grinders etc, Thought I had seen some big stuff, until I started working a GEC Turbines in trafford park, Then I did see big stuff!

Re: Lathe
Is that a Dickson Tool Post I see there? If so would you be selling the holders separately?

"Rapid Original" - http://www.gfbgroup.it/rapid-original-eng I think this particular model was made for Boxford as last I checked they didn't list it in their catalog.

Re: Lathe
The holders look similar, and I think they might fit but can't be sure. As you only have the 3 they probably would be better staying with the lathe. It's a fine machine at a good price you have there, good luck with the sale.
