Been given this....

...an ex Phase 1 WEC team Pace products R1 radiator.

Slightly second hand and in need of some TLC to repair a few dings and leaks and will need modification to fit (new brackets) but is going to replace the Suzuki radiator and ensure that no matter what is done to the engine it will not overheat.....

Looking good there.

Can you explain how you're going to get the radiator plumbed in, are there any considerations regarding extra size on the system and the input and output feeds?

Also it might just be the picture but the new radiator looks twice the size of the original, is there enough room to mount it between the frame cylinder head and the wheel/ mudguard? Or are you changing the mounting position?

Impressive looking build you've got here.

I've been considering Wire wheels for ages and those Aprilia SXVs look like they fit the bill perfectly minus the single disc up front.

Good luck with the rest of the build. I'll be following this closely.

The Pace radiator is heavily curved...

..so should fit between front cylinder head and front wheel with no problems. It will "just" require the mounts to be altered.

Plumbing is a piece of the proverbial as the hose outlet/inlet sizes are the same. The rad will require one small bleeder outlet blocking off, but other than that it's a straight swap.

The standard thermostat will be fine. The larger rad might require some taping to raise the running temperature if it's too efficient/not being worked hard enough.
