There was no why I could keep standard ones. Which high can you got? Mines the Scorpion. Had to go for short stem diamonds and then theres is only about 10mm gap!! I put arrow heads on front just to compliment it.

What has changing tyres got to do with chain adjustment??

You do not need to touch the adjusters at all when removing or fitting the rear wheel. Assuming that you correctly adjust your own chain, then there should have been no reason for them to touch it.

Indeed! I suspect they thought they were providing a fuller service but then denied doing it when I queried it! I was quite happy with them doing an adjustment had the adjustment been correct!

Sorry Triumphumphumph, they semed pretty good when I had a pair of Diablos fitted a couple of weeks ago £200 fitted. While waiting I noticed they did MOTs as well.

At the weekend though he did seem to be very strick when he was doing an MOT on another bike, making it clear about things like zorst baffles number plate sizes and centrally fitted relectors as well. I don't think he said anything about the indicators although from a safety view I can sort of see what he means for the field of view....

Did you get charged a retest fee?

No fee just an extra trip which in fact I didn't mind. I didn't even mind the cators but thought i would warn others! No need to be sorry - all in all they did a good job except for chain - the tightness to which you can testify!

I use them for tyres aswell. When I saw they did MOTs I enquired about that also, but was told loud exhausts are a problem, so I continue to get my MOT back in Bristol...
