Its probably difficult to truly show another biker that you are one yourself whilst behind the wheel, without hanging out the window shouting I ****ing love bikers etc.. which may be be misenterpreted that you are a member of the blue oyster club or something?? But im sure somebody in history said "do on to others as you would have them do onto you" and you probably cant go far wrong

I wouldn't put a think bike sticker on my car, advertises the possibility of a bike in your house to any passing pikeys.

At traffic lights I wind down my window and say 'I'll give you a head start'

I've done this ever since a lorry driver did it to me. It made me chuckle inside my helmet.
Generally it has the same reaction on other bikers but some get a bit confused.

I find that cars towing race bikes are a good indication.

I always give them a wave as I pass.

Just pull out in front of them and say "SMIDSY, I actually ride a bike myself as well you know" - They'll be fine with that

What's the 'blue oyster club'?
I felt a total idiot the other day driving the car home and passed the traffic cops the other side of the road.
I somehow FORGOT I wasn't on the SV and gave the 'slow down/cops about' sign out my window to oncoming bikers! They must have thought I'd lost the plot!
