It's also worth giving serious consideration to some sort of recovery. Unless you have friends with trailers or are already a member of AA/RAC and have bike cover I think it's a must.
I recently had a puncture and would've been totally stuffed without breakdown cover. It only added about £30 to my policy |

well ive gone with Dial Direct ins fully comp and got bent over but at least im covered for everything !
only thing i was shock about was they didnt list my almax chain etc even over the phone. Tom.
