ORLY???

The Raptor owners (1000 at least) have problems finding such things as caliper seals due to Brembo not making them anymore. Something to do with some kn0b not fitting them right and having himself a woopsi daisy
Only ones compatible are from KTM. Can't remember off the top of my head which though. Its across the board, as Aprillia owners have the same issue, being they use the same brakes.

I shall be remembering you when I can't find stuff

best place for that would be the bay of evil or occasionally the Raptor Chapter.

I reckon it's more of a sidestep than an upgrade TBH.

Personally if I wanted to do something like that I'd use showas off of a ducati or an aprilia, then you got decent springs and adjustability as standard.

Or find some MV forks, I've never seen any but I bet it's not been done before!

Apparently R1 internals fit in the forks to make them betterer, but I don't pay that much attention TBH, as mine just need some new fork oil, they're only undersprung to people over 10 stone!
Rear shock is a bit iffy though, but i can put up with that for a wee while longer.(again, only iffy if yer over 10 stone!)

Yeah, but you'd be nuts to deliberately fit rare, expensive, crap parts that you need to get some more rare, expensive parts to make work when there are more common, cheaper and damn near spot on parts available

On the same token Chris.....its a rare expensive bike to have in the first place, so putting rare expensive parts on it don't really make a difference!

Theres many a person out there that own them who have experimented with suspension that works.....a bit like those SVers that do the same with theirs

Marzocchi forks can't be that bad on a bike, can they?
TBH you've only helped out on a Raptor that had been neglected of everything but a set of tyres and engine oil, maybe once you get your hands on one that is in half decent working order in the first place, it may throw up some suprises. Don't knock owt til you've tried it, or at least played with proper.....s'pose that makes mine the ginuea pig then!
