Mine never used any, it got checked every week though...

In short, Check it every week along with tyre pressures, chain and lights... Top up as required.

Your consumption is nothing to worry about.

yeah oil is checked - not as frequent as it should be... but i know roughly when it needs topping up already, by mileage and sound of the engine.

lights always checked, brakes, etc; chain gets a kick every week and well my rear tyre is bald so no point looking at that... some advice requested in this post about what rear tyre to buy

glad to know my oil consumption is nothing to worry about... i have enough to worry about as it is!!!

I haven't had to top up at all between oil changes, even with my rear CCT very slowly leaking oil. Bike has 25.5k on it as well.

Like others have said, just keep an eye on it but don't let it go down to the min marker.

Mines now around 32k and drinks more oil then it did previously, needs topping up about half way between each oil change and occasionally after every other long motorway blast.
