Nah, common because half the bikes up here are from Cupars, and an awful lot have Scorpions since that's what they sell

What else would i need to use this exhaust to replace the standard can on my SVS
oh and BTW wouldnt have a clue what to offer no idea of value etc
You would also need a can strap. This wraps round the can and is attached to the pillion peg or luggage rail depending on the level (hi/ low) of the exhaust determined by the link pipe. This is to support the weight of the can and stop it falling off.

Also you would need an exhaust clamp to go over the join depending on the design of the link pipe. If you don't have one and the seal isn't great then your can will pop and bang as air is sucked in (though not always a bad thing). You could probably get the bits of eBay or straight from Scorpion.

As for the price, offer him a tenner

Link pipe costs £23 new, hanger and clamp about £7, can well thats up to you....whatever takes your fancy on ebay but make sure it's a 50-51mm connection.

Default Showa End Can

I have an extra new can thats up for sale, may swap.
Its a Showa Carbon End Can with no link pipe or strap, no baffle or stamps.
The sizes are 600mm long by 100mm wide, the connection diameter is 62mm external and 60mm internal so would need adjusted to fit the original exhaust.
I have the same End Can on my Pointy, with a baffle fitted and still sounds great.
PM if interested.

Cheers.

Is your MCN lid the limited edition silver with the Black stripe down the middle?

they made 50 of them?

If so then that is freaky because I have one and I have a baby-blue/silver K6 sv650s too.

Just bought a straight through Sebring can, don't know what it sounds like yet though as not fitted.

Yip, lol (only mine has a santa hat attached at the moment, because I'm sad like that :P) I still can't make up my mind which can tho, so many choices..

james160987: nah I'm not after a scorp, so yeah, go ahead, I think I'm after either a blue flame, yoshimura, leo vice, akro-whatever or something along those lines.
