[quote=Dave The Rave;1615703]As others. keep to 30s and 40s (ish)

Now that the gnomes are extending 30s & 40s and introducing 50s for no safety reason I have lost all respect for them. It is all part of the LCD Lowest Common Denominator syndrome that we live in under this government & its apparatchiks.

Been there done that.

I went though approx 9months, and got stopped a grand total of 17 times!! "Spot check on your vehicle sir!" Fudge factory workers.

I've also been very lucky in the past (for example, undertaken an unmarked car over the limit & just got flashed at, then gesticulated at).

Then I fitted a loud can & small plate, and I've only been stopped for "proper" offences.

Though I am officially Welsh now, having grown 14 sets of eyes.

When I was 12 years old, my dad deemed me old enough to do 150 mph when pillion.

So he did. He never admitted it, but I know I saw 150 mph as we shot pass a boy-racer XR-2i

I voted: i'm a little quicker than some.

Ill be the first to admit before my accident (speed wasnt a factor BTW!!) i did sometimes ride like a goon. If i get back on a bike i will certainly keep the wide open stuff to wide open clear roads! Through towns, villages etc i always stick to speed limits.

If I saw your bike on the road I'd have to slow down, I'd be dazzled by the bling and LEDs

Aye one day we may Robo. Would be good to meet you. Would be interesting to ride with you... As long as you dont enjoy streights more than corners it might even be fun ... Not meaning you dont, I tend to hammer it through corners and cruise to the next one.

Hope you dont chase such things... You better practice your ballance at low speeds if you do!
