PMSL..............I remember that. We'd ridden through a monsoon, got soaked to the skin, Larry had soaked up so much water he weighed about 3 stone, but we were all grinning

I have to admit I don't LIKE riding in the rain at all, it totally saps my confidence. Which is weird because I've never crashed in the wet but it really brings out the worst in me.

Be surprised if anyone really liked riding in the rain but most of us do it anyways and don't care too much about it In fact I was out on Sunday, went up to the Green Welly (very lacking in seeing other bikes) and the snow line was a lot lower than expected and the snow storm almost made us head back to Crianlarich and south from there but we braved it out and went via Dalmally to Inveraray as planned

[quote=squirrel_hunter;1680874]So I was riding home tonight (M5, M4) and I hit the rain as soon as I left Weston Super Mud. I'm talking real crazy wet, standing water every where and massive spray. After about a half hour I'm soaked through and decide to stop at the services near Nam 'to change gloves and see if me phone still works.

I had to go under a bridge that dipped down tonight, surprise it was flooded. My feet got wet, even through the carrier bags. lol.

Sidi one piece waterproof (with quilt lining, mmmm), heated Gerbings gloves and £40 boot coated with nikk wax - and a big grin as I filter past the fools in their cars. You can keep yer bloody cage tar very much, I'm nice and dry. the only time i have ever regreted riding in the rain was one trip down the M4 to a TVSF meet - even my waterproofs didn't help the rain was so heavy - we made an impressive pile of gear by the radiator in the pub, soggy socks and all!

'Nam = Chips 'n Ham. Lay By The Sea services to be precise.

Luckily me phone still works. But all my kit is still wet, should really get some water proofs that work but I've been saying that for the past 9 years...

And stevo sv, that motivator always makes me smile. Reminds me of when me and Beenz went out with the Doc round the back 'roads'. Good times.
