Thats some nasty...
I hobbled away from 60mph highside thanks to my alpinestars suit, and I owe my chin to a lid (why do they still sale open face rubbish?). But its tough, even after all that and this you can still find me going the short distances in jeans. (Still wearing jacket, gloves, boots though) |

Grim grim grim. I'm normally not at all squeemish, but that last picture of the guy's hand was a real mess. Ouch.
As a note to people umming and arring about looking at them, they make Big Ape's injury pics look decidedly tame. Not advisable if you are eating... ![]() |

Am also not one to shy away from gruesome pics, but that last one got me.
And that was a female's hand! To her credit though, she did have the correct gloves one. Is strange, I have seen a lot of people riding in t-shirts, not just scooters but huge big 1000cc machines, and they are wearing shorts, t-shirts and trainers! I just hope nothing ever happens to them, or at least they get a wake up call. I think the message is pretty clear |

im new here and seeing those pics really opens your eyes thats why before i even started my bike training i spent £700-£800 on new kit its not worth the risk for the sake of 5 - 10 mins putting your gear on
