Superb photos and trip.

Kinda makes me wish I had an adventure bike.

There's enough tarmac that you could make a pretty good stab at Morocco without knobbly tyres, obviously the remote mountain peaks are a bit off limits but there's great views on most roads there

You may need to do the odd section on gravel but the roads are pretty good, especially in the south

We saw Harleys down there, so obviously riding skill and a good bike are only optional...

Short clip from the desert, we were waiting for the others so not much to do in 30-40deg heat but take some photos and use the bike as a sun shade

On the subject of routes, who came up with it? Had one of your number rode it before?

No, two guys of the UKGSer site had ridden a similar route and advised us, in the big loop from Midelt (the bit that wasn't just riding to and from the mountains) we probably followed ~50% of their route and made up the other half by looking at the map the evening before and planning a rough route for the next day. It's nice to travel with no pre-bookings or anything so you can just turn up somewhere and decide to stop or alter the route at the last second
