Re: Biker's invention could save lives
Cool! Definitely looks worth a try. Only thing that might be a problem is sun reflections maybe? Actually maybe car headlights at night too? I'd like to try it out

Re: Biker's invention could save lives
Good ideas are quite often simple ones. Wouldn't really want one on my YZF though.

I think it looks like a really good device and not too intrusive, I hope he's got it patented.

Interesting. Though I doubt it will catch on.

What a brilliant idea. Watched the vid twice then went out to the garage, had a good look at the GSXR, cannot imagine how you could fit it to a sport bike.

Re: Biker's invention could save lives
Good to see an SV featured at 0:24, not so good it's a silver pointy
Cracking idea and I'd imagine a fair few folk will go for it, those that are more bothered about safety than looks WOuldn't it be quite distracting having it under your nose though? And he had an extra "Riderscan" on his screen. Why two? Isn't one enough? Last edited by missyburd; 03-09-11 at 03:35 PM. |

"I've got crap observations... Oh look at my invention!"
Move your head yah lazy f***er! No seriously though, if you've dozed off enough to forget basic CBT level obs and lost all spatial awareness that something has come into your mirror and then disappeared into your blind spot then you are probably too dozy at that moment to check any mirror properly, curved one or not.
