Car boot sale virgin - top tips required, please
I'm having my first car boot sale on Saturday.
I've really no idea what to expect, so any top tips would be much appreciated. For example, do I price everything or have no prices so I can haggle more? Thanks.

Price everything up and be prepared to haggle! Some people will even try to knock you down on a 10p item!

Just remember that people will always try to haggle you. If you're on the boot but to get a bit of money then keep a reasonable price. If you're doing it just to get rid of some things that are unwanted then haggling is a good way because sometimes you get more than the thing is worth at this moment in time.

Re: Car boot sale virgin - top tips required, please
Many, many, many years ago as a kid my parents did some to get rid of clutter. My only advise from what I remember is to get there early, get the table set up in front of the boot first before opening it otherwise you will get people rummaging through and getting in your way as you're trying to set up. Having the table gives you a barrier and some space to work.
Oh and don't go for a wonder, you risk returning with more junk then you set out with... |
