Default Grumpy ranting

WARNING:

As if there wasn't enough to deal with I've just experienced a new peril on the roads of Bristol city centre - chewing gum. Not only does it slowly collect other c**p off the road but it also then takes bloomin' ages to get off tyres once safely locked up in my badly-spelt-poorly-executed-chav-graffiti-ridden garage.

Knowing my luck, the day will come when chewing gum on my front tyre picks up a crushed coke can and flings it at some unsuspecting pedestrian who then persues me through "claims direct" because they (genuinely for the first time in their wasted life) can't work anymore.

The regeneration of Broadmead (why bother, it's only going to be full of chavs and drunks) has turned the area into a scene from "Black Hawk Down" and gridlocks roads to and from the M32 every morning. I communte by car so my 9 mile journey now takes an hour. I can't afford the insurance to commute by bike. Just build one f*** off big Lidl and be done with it I say.

Note to self: Avoid Bristol city centre at all times - it's a sh*thole anyway.

Oh and one more thing; Tw*ts on mopeds!

Glad you got that off your chest!

Never had a problem with chewing gum myself.

Enjoyed the metaphors?

How do you actually get chewing gum off of your tyres?

Does the old Ice Cube trick work?

Yep its a waste of time and money, but it makes filtering fun!

But hey if you think thats bad come to Swindon, theres no development here and making it look like a scene from Black Hawk Down will be a big improvement.

As for the Gum, surly it should make your tyres more grippy

Like Squirrel traffic, roadworks and streetfurniture are just all the more fun to play with. I'll admit tho I only go to the centre or through on the bike now. Hopeless in the car.

I worked and "resided" in Swindon for 7 years. I was going to say I lived there, but I don't want to exagerate.

I bet you can blast along the great western way though
