Default Bolt through brake pedal - MOT?

I had an off a while back and I've "fixed" the broken rear brake pedal by putting a bolt through it. Any idea if this would pass an MOT? I've looked at MOT literature but they don't seem to mention this.

I'll replace the pedal when I get a chance but MOT time is looming.

as long as it's functional and doesn't look sharp (put a bit of electrical tape over it), you should be fine.

The bike I bought off here, (off Duke) has this done to it and he assured me it had passed the MOT in this condition

I was missing the knob to my rear brake pedal and it passed, infact I was told the bike was technically an MOT failure because the clutch lever was missing it's knob on the end but was discretely ignored.

Mine was like that for many years with a bit of old rubber pipe over the bolt.Never even mentioned at MOT

I spent a number of years with a bolt as the toe lever on my gear change. Never a problem for a MOT. However I had to replace it once as it vibrated out, this was fixed with some Loctite...
