First of all my thanks to all those who posted their commiserations. It is quite disheartening to have all that hard work go to waste when you don't know the cause. But this is not the end of the road for SH2...

I don't think so, while I didn't have the crank balanced with the Busa pistons, I'm not the first one to do this mod and they have not been balanced by others. In hindsight as I had the crank out I should have got it balanced anyway.

Ah the shattered clutch plates. So why would wheeling do that? Further more I don't wheelie.

Any of those 3 will take a lot of work. I have another one in mind. Just waiting for a part to turn up and its MOT time.

Oddly no. I just sat on the hard shoulder in quiet refection.

Yes the engine will be stripped down as I'm very interested to know what happened. Once the engine is stripped, well thats another question. I think I know what I'm going to do, but suggestions as ever are welcome.

Squirel told me about this last night, gutted to ****..

When it got reground the casings, and crank went to an engineering firm that has been around for a loong time and he sorted the grinding and the bearings so I would like to think that they were bob on
