Part 11; I've Been Framed:

With the engine together it was time to get it into the frame. But before that a little cleaning was the order of the day. Decided to remove most of the old chain lube from the swing arm, shock mounting, and rear wheel. First time for everything eh? The installation wasn't as bad as some previous engines I've helped put into frames but a little percussive maintenance was still required. And for this part the photographs I took at the start of this project became useful to get the mounting brackets on correctly. I imagine that I will be using these photographs for the next stage as well.

But its not over there. Still to come the plumbing, the brakes and the first start up. Oh the anticipation.

ohh ohh the race is on, get my cylinders back tomorrow if my piston ring compressor turns up i will have the piston and barrels back on tomorrow, swing arm and shock then its just the heads and connect it all up on Tuesday

Well, I think that he may have learnt his lesson this time, I have witnessed him checking and topping up oil on several occasions since this one blew up after AR09
