Rare opportunity to ride Goodwood. I'm booked in. Anybody want to join me?

Oh man, I looked for ages to get a Goodwood TD, but could never find one so this is indeed rare!

I'd definitely sign up if I was about 20000 miles away

That would be good. But at £250, no way.

:O £250 and you still have to take your own bike? surely you can get a riding school ride for that on a road/race bike

In your dreams!

The point is not the price - It's just Goodwood never do bike trackdays. It's a chance to ride a classic circuit that is steeped in motor racing history!

If you just want to do a trackday, there are far cheaper days out there.

Goodwood is expensive but has been said there is more to it than just a trackday. I've ridden there once, they were very tight on noise limits and no more than five bikes were allowed on the circuit at any one time. Not sure if that is still the case but it might help explain the cost. Not a lot of run off in most places either, apart from St Mary's where you have the entire infield at your disposal. My mate ran off on his R6 there and rejoined on the other side of the circuit. Only problem was they were growing wheat on the infield at the time and the air scoop on an R6 is at just the right height to take all their heads off. Took him ages to get it all out!

Bit pricey, but it does say that only 5 bikes allowed on at any one time.

....track looks a little bit "meh" to me.

Did it make the exhaust smell of fresh bread? Or burnt toast maybe.

Would love to ride it, but not at that price!
