Default Front cylinder head

After a replacement for mine which has a tap snapped off in it. Prob cheaper to replace the whole thing than to spend on tap removal kits, etc.
It's a K4 but I'm pretty sure other pointy years (04 to 06 with the one plug) will be fine. Don't need any of the innerds, just the case.
Anyone have one knocking about?

Cheers,
Dave

If you wanted one from a curvy I should be able to help. Though I would think that removing the broken tap/ stud would be cheaper and quicker than replacing the whole head as have you seen the prices of head gaskets?

I've got a tap removal tool on order... if I can fix this for £14 I'll be well happy...
Fingers crossed.

worth trying a bit of heat when you try to remove it , may make all the difference.

just checked mine out and the thread is 25mm deep ,as the hole is in a raised area of casting you could easily afford to cut the alloy back by 5mm exposing the tap sufficient to get some grips on it ,if your tap extractor doesn't work.
You would still have a good 15mm of thread allowing for the fact that the last couple of mm of any blind hole can't be tapped.
