Can anybody recommend me a leather repairer in the Bristol area?

Many Thanks

I've never used them and to be honest don't even know if they are still there as its been a while since I've been down there, but...

At the Bedminster side of Redcliffe Hill there is a tower block with some shops including a Spar or Post Office at the end. At the other end of the rank there should be a leather repair/ alteration shop. I remember being told of it by someone in the bike trade a few years back and it came recommended.

Worth a shot.

Thanks for the replies.

squirrel_hunter - I'm pretty sure the place you mean is GRC leather repairs but last time I tried to find the shop I couldn't so I'm guessing he's not in business anymore.

Xan173 - Marion now has my leathers for repair

Thanks again
Tony

I've heard her work is good, let me know - I might have the baggy **** removed from my two piece at the end of the summer.

Picked my leathers up on Monday and Marion has done a top job. Very nicely repaired and exactly what I was after and more besides. She noticed that some stitching had come undone so fixed that as well.

She also fixed the pockets in my road jacket and did some alterations to my wife's horse bridle. I think there is nothing she can't do with leather

Definitely recommended.

How long did she have them for?

About 10 days including weekends. I think she would've like to have had them longer but I needed them back desperately for a track day.
