Swindon area sv owners..

Im out getting drunk in swindon on New years Eve, so watch out to those who live round there!
Been told we will be mostly staying in a pub called "Walkabout"???? (or something like that)

Walkabouts are generally meat markets but are a good laugh if you wanna get ****ed and sing along to classic bonjovi/ bryan adams etc. usually they had a party band on that plays that kind of covers..

i was in sheffield last night and the band played killers/oasis type stuff, not too bad

Walkabout is one of the busiest places in swindon these days, so i can see NYE either being totally rammed, or totally empty.... I haven't actually been into town on NYE for a few years but it was deserted when i went about... oooh 5 years ago or so.

Should be a good, boozy night though!

I'm most definitely not going to be in Swindon for NYE.
I don't see the point in going to Walkabout, it could be any crappy towny pub in any town in Britain. There's nothing Australian about it.

ERmm something to do with drunkenly telling my best mate that we dont see enough of each other (last time i was out in swindon with him) so hes said we can go out with him on nye and crash/pass out at his place.

The Walkabout in Cardiff is total crap. Too many people let in, sticky floors (don't ask!) and a guaranteed bout of fisticuffs every Friday and Saturday night.

Music's good though.........if you like rock music.....Bon Jovi, The Cult, etc.
