Calling out the SW Surfers
What's up dudes/ dudettes?
Who's up for a Bank Holiday ride on Friday or Sunday? Where's Grant, Stu and the crew? I propose Wales (as usual) via the Forest of Dean. How's about it then lads? I'm based in Cheltenham these days. |

Re: Calling out the SW Surfers
Hello mate!
Cheltenham eh? Stranger things have happened... I might be able to do Sunday will give me time to sort the TZR out unless I take the Grom. The SV is currently missing its rear end. |

Re: Calling out the SW Surfers
Omg, what are you doing now?
Anyway, I have two ideas. One which may be too far. The other is more manageable: 1. Proposed route: To Landovery, Lampeter, Newcastle Emelyn (A484), then from Cardigan through the National Park and on to Fishgaurd. Then straight to St David's for lunch and a return loop via Haverford West, Saundersfoot for Fish and Chips / Coffee then St Clears. From there, take your pick for your route back east, south or north. All in all, about 250 miles depending on where you start. 2. Forest of Dean, Monmouth, Abergavenny over the mountain to Builth and back. A lot less miles. |

Re: Calling out the SW Surfers
Same as ever. I was just thinking its been a while, didn't get out much last year for various reasons.
Not a lot has changed, I still have no idea what routes those are, though I imagine I've ridden there before. I'll see what others are doing. The TZR kills my wrists, and the Grom isn't the fastest outside of the city, what I need is a SV! |

I think I came to this a little late. I'm always up for rides, got my new bike now.

Grant's moved to Chester and I think Steve's Grom would have struggled on the 300 mile round trip last weekend I'm out either this Saturday or Sunday if the weather is decent, probably make a trip to abergavenny and the surrounding mountains. Let me know if any of you guys are up for it. I am now Cheltenham based. |
