Steering damper on a naked pointy?
Has anyone retro-fitted a steering damper to a naked pointy? If so, which one, how and where?

Re: Steering damper on a naked pointy?
And just as importantly: Why?

Re: Steering damper on a naked pointy?
My curvy S came with a Sprint damper fitted, it sits on the top yoke/tank fixings.
Most folks will tell you they are not needed and i can't really disagree with that, i have never ridden the bike without it. A couple of weeks ago the back end slipped on git, then grabbed again, mid corner felt like someone hit the back with a sledgehammer, the sideways force was enough to hurt my back and as the shake worked its way up the bike i thought i was headed for the ditch. I was to say the least pleased when it just calmed down at the bars. No idea if it was due to the damper but i did thank it after. |

Re: Steering damper on a naked pointy?
This!
You can race a SV650 very quick without one
