No, not with out modding things by making your own brackets up.

An SV doesn't need a steering damper, and for those that feel it does sort your handling out then you will notice the damper isn't required!

Personal Pref mate, yeah 95% of minitwinners dont use them but I do and Its been handy a few times. Rather have it and not need it than vice versa.

You dont need 750cc but youve gone and done it anyway!

And yeah it wont fit.

Agree with Sideshow, better to have and not need.

From my experience the SV does require a damper as I've had a few head shakes over the years. This is with stock suspension, not had much from my new SV with uprated suspenders but not really had a chance to push it yet due to the dead boots its wearing.

So what damper would I require for a side mount. I think the one in the link is a top yoke Ducati style damper, but if you have a side mount kit lying around the garage (frame spar to lower yoke fork clamp) what would I need to look for?

A steering damper only masks the problem, why spend £200 pound on a damper when that money can be used to sort out the problem a damper would be masking!

The SV650 has a sweet chassis, only let down is the suspension but sort that out and your damper issues are resolved!
