Couldn't get my shock and dog bone bolts undone so had to get a garage to do mine. Typical Japanese problem, they seem to have an adversion to using anything remotely resembling grease. Suggest a good coat of copper slip on all the moving parts whilst you are in there and then its done. Pete

Use the ABBA Stand in the swing arm if you have one available it makes the job a lot easier. |

Aha, good point, I was thinking of a paddock stand.

The swing arm will drop a little so the rear tyre will be resting on the ground (the ABBA Stand takes it off the ground). Though I can't honestly remember if it will do that with just the dog bones being removed as I am usually swapping shocks so take the whole set up apart anyway. As a tip, a block of wood comes in handy to stick under the rear wheel to raise it up a bit and make refitting the suspension bolts a little easier.
