Fed up with having to use a leccy shaver twice a day, thought I'd give wet shaving a go, get it down to just once a day.
Now I notice shaving has gone pretty hi tech, the twin blade revolution of the 70's I remember now replaced with a multitude of different, (and damn expensive) alternatives. So far I've tried the fusion zillion blade thingy for a couple of days, and have a mach3 to try next, both freebies from gillette. Fairly impressed with the fusion, but the heads/blades or whatever they are called aint cheap. I also notice there is even one with a battery in now! Any reccomendations? |

Use the mach3 when I havnt shaved for a bit and the Fusion when shaving every day. The blades for both arent cheap but the fushion ones are more expensive than the mach3 so use the mach3 to get ruined getting the beard off.

I've normally been a sucker for the Mach3, or Fusion, but I've recently been using a Tesco own-brand three bladed thing whose blades are much cheaper than the Gilette, and it's actually pretty good - much lower running costs.
And despite all the hype, I still find that good old fashioned soap (I like Imperial Leather) is one of the best things to shave with... hang all that fancy gelcreamoilfoam stuff. |

Bought one of these years ago cause I liked the design. But after taking half of my top lip off (which I blame for a failed date) I put it away and forgot about it.
In that time I was using some other type of razor (you know the ones, the type they advertise on TV with the latest this and that etc) but the blades wouldn't last long and were expensive. And when I last ran out and forgot to get some replacements I thought I'd give the Classic another delicate go. Once you get the technique right its easy, plus I haven't had to change the blade for about 6 months. Also its possible to use it for your bikini line, however as a word of warning you will need to have the technique right first ![]() |

I find the Fusion better than the Mach3, but theres not a huge amount in it.
TBH the best blade is a new, fresh, sharp blade, if you use a blunt or dulled blade I found I was more likely to cut myself with that.
