So... replaced my seriously knackered chain tonight with a lovely new Gold DID X-Ring (didn't want the gold but twas all m&p had in stock as I didn't want the O-Ring and needed next day delivery). For the sake of my own curiosity I placed the new and old one side by side, the old one was over 2 links longer!
Now I'm pretty sure that I've been sent the correct one and am confident of the original as I trust the guys who fitted it. But to grow by 2 whole links !?! is this possible and where is the growth from?
