Default New Clutch Time

Rumour has it that I might finally stop being so lazy and rebuild my SV. I’m going to place an order from Wemoto for the complete gasket set but I also know I need a new clutch as the one in the engine came out in pieces. I had the same problem in the spare engine that I took a look at, and while between the two I could probably make a complete usable set it’s probably best to stick a new one in. So recommend me a clutch please…

Would I need the steel plates as well or will just new friction plates be acceptable? I would guess that depends on the condition of the ones I took out, so how do I tell if they need replacing? I’ve checked and the springs need replacing also. So will it just be friction plates and springs or the whole set, I which case which one to go for?

As I’m ordering the gaskets from Wemoto I might as well get the clutch from there as well to combine the postage so selections from that site please, unless of course someone can suggest another (cheaper) place to get the clutch and gaskets from…
