Calne Bike Meet 25th July 09

Is anybody going to this tomorrow ?

It's in Calne Wiltshire and last year attracted 3000 bikes !

I'm riding-in with Wiltshire Bikers, any else be there ?

yeah, just a bit of a treck from cardiff, and we plan to head up mid wales.

Great day there, hundreds (thousands) of bikes everywhere.
The sun shone, the bands played, the bikes sounded great, the burgers were brill, the drink was cold & I got a sunburnt head

Did the ride-in with Wiltshire Bikers (about 40 of us) a good crowd.

Only saw two other SV's, my "twin" (see below) and a really nice silver curvy, looked great in silver.

I guess that they are the same as most groups, some very quick and some sensible. They seem a nice bunch though.
Big mix of bikes, mainly sports, but others as well.

Sadly it's not half as nice a forum as this one (the design & lay-out) it's a pity as not having a big "New Post" button makes using it a bit of a pain.

There seems to be quite a few from Swindon, we met a group of about 20 on the way in today.
