Default Choke on a track bike

Sorry, another subject I've been struggling to find info on.
I have got a venhill quick action throttle for my pile of parts that WILL get reassembled into a track bike. I want to move the right hand switch gear to the left.
When getting shot of the left switch gear what can I do with the choke cables?
Shorten the cables and reposition on the frame?

I have read information on it somewhere recently but can not think where.

Thanks

Mark

OK either: -

Just leave the cable and pull it (thats what I do)

Wrap a zip tie round the cable with another zip tie through it to act as a loop you can pull or alternatively use lockwire to do the same job.

If your really posh a lawn mover lever.

Because a quick action throttle is bigger than a standard throttle.

Here is my setup, I have gone for a smaller engine stop switch to compliment the quick action throttle. The brake master cylinder is brembo so its smaller too.

and the choke cable just hangs loose

I see, the throttle grip housing is bigger. Just wondered. So are you using the stop switch from a particular bike there or is it a custom fabrication?

Think it may have been a cheap ebay item from a minimoto or paddock bike that I used as a "get me by" thats just stayed. I know Demon Tweeks do one for approx £20 but it will do until it breaks (which it hasnt done in nearly 3 years).

Btw mine is keyless start so I just flick the engine switch and hit the start button.

Easy, get a universal cable nipple and drill it out large enough to take two cables, then do this:
