I just purchased a carbon weive effect tank bra with sv logo embossed into it and fitted it to my bike. The trouble I have is it keeps slipping down. The fittings you get are a peice of elastic that goes under tank and 4 u shaped plastic clips that are supposed to grip the lip at bottom of tank. However I must be missing something as the u shaped clips do not grip the lip there just rest against the lip. Has anyone else fitted one and what did they do to stop it slipping down and going all baggy on either side of tank.

What make is it? If Bagster it should have a strap at the front to go around the headstock and one at the back to go under/round something suitable like a frame rail or seat support. The straps are the main hold-down and stop it moving front to back and the clips should hold it from sideways movement. Getting the fit right will help the side clips hold on and sometimes it takes a bit of trial and error.
Otherwise, are you sure it's the right cover for your model?

Do you have a picture or link as to be honest I haven't seen one before. It might help if we could see what you mean.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You can see the plastic u shaped clips in each corner and a piece of elastic goes from top two corners under tank suposidly to pull tight but not fantastic |

That elastic looks too long for straight under the tank.
As this tank protector needs to be pulled forward on the bike, are you sure that the elastic doesn't go horizontally along the bottom of the tank lip, all the way to the front of the tank?

Where its sewn into cover there is no where else it can go you put it under tank and when you put tank down ontop of the air box it should pull tight. Will try and get a better pic of where it locates next week. Was just hoping someone here has one as well

Tit tape. That's what I use to keep my bra from slipping down, particularly when I'm wearing a strapless black little number. However I feel this might not be the advise you are looking for.
I do have a question though, what is the point of a tank bra, is your tank getting saggy with age? |
