Default Changing the front - mid section of top fairing - colour

Now, I've seen this done.... On a few photos, here.
Namely Viney and SVRash and I think it looks quite cool.
Changing the middle part of top fairing (Ie between the lights), to give it the 'striped' look.
I particularly like Vineys orange strip...

Anyone else like this idea??

I think it can either look really cool.....................or totally naff.

Viney's orange stripe is the former, but saw a pale yellow SV with the middle section white for sale in a dealers once, and it looked nasty.

It would depend a great deal on what colour you went for I guess, but get the right contrast and it looks stunning.

Most of the ones I've seen have looked pretty good, Matt (moriaty) currently has a yellow centre on a black SV, which is very nice, although he doesn't like it much.

High contrast is the way to go with this I think.

I had a silver centre section for a bit with the black sides... It was quite nice. Say a red one with a white centre as well, liked that.

I have a blue with a yellow centre.

Makes the bike a little different (even though everyones doing it now ).

The yellow helps to get me a little more notice from the cages, found that the first time I went out with it more cars were moving over.

Like Empty said the higher the contrast the better

Oh you're talking about this then

But I think going outside the panel line works better.

Cheers Mark.
