Default Any graphic/industrial designers?

Have you got any experience of using a CAD program called Blender?

I have done a course in Product Design & Manufacture and have ended up as a manufacturing engineer - yawn. I want to delve back into the graphic design side of my course (but it really wasn't covered that well) so i'm playing about at home trying to do a visualisation of my SV650S at home and going from there.

Unfortunately I can't afford to buy a decent program (i tried using a demo of Cinema 4d which i like) and have ended up with blender, an opensource 3D graphics program... it seems quite good when you get used to the user interface. However i would like to be able to ask questions to someone who knows!

I really should use Blender - but too lazy to change to it.

Sorry but unable to help

Can't afford to buy a decent program. Thats very honest of you.

Most people would go to thepiratebay.org or other similar sites and down load the software for free using bittorrent

some people looked around and got stuck in a host of warez and porn sites before giving up... they might decide to try that link though

Don't really know about industrial design, but I use Maya for 3D visual effects work. You can download a learning copy from http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet...112&id=7639525 .
