Welder wanted

Tris (my fella) is desperatly after a welder, wants a Sealey Supermig 185 (preferably) or one along those lines .
He was bidding on one on ebay that inc the mask and a bottle of C02/Argon gas, didnt reach the reserve so the guy offered Tris it and then seconds later sold it to the next LOWEST bidder as tris didnt respond IMMEDIATLY (nnedless to say Tris has gone off in the car to calm down as hes pretty peeved off at that!)
Can anyone help?? getting fed up with ebay.

I'm no expert, but...

I looked into this after reading something on here and was surprised at the cost as I would have expected them to be more expensive. For stuff like this I use the following CPC or Farnell, yep they are the same company but offer different things. I'm not sure how the prices compare to eBay or elsewhere as once I looked at them I realized I don't know how to weld so gave up for the time being. Also they are many 'trade' but I think they will supply to the general public.
