As said sometime ago I got myself a zxr400L to use as a trackbike. Well today it arrived and I'm now looking for a full exhaust system to be able to use it on the road and track
![]() So if anyone knows of one going please let me know. Thanks ![]() |

And I just thought, you sure its an L model?
I'm not an expert on the ZXR400, but I always thought that an easy way to spot the difference in the L and H models were the fork legs. L model legs are the natural metal color while H models fork bottoms were back like yours. I could have it round the wrong way (though I hope I don't as I believe I have L forks) or I maybe completely wrong... |

Yep agreed. Done some more digging after posting, turns out I have H forks instead of the L model I thought they were. Oh well, off to eBay again.
If your still after a pipe, head over to 400 Grey Bike and ask there... |

Yeah basically they are the same. Looking at part numbers there are a couple of small differences between them, they use slightly different spacers and adjusters, and fork leg bottoms as they are black on an L and silver on a H.
But in the main I'm not sure. However I know that the L and H run slightly different brake disc's, 300mm and 310mm IIRC. Not sure why though. However I feel we may be detracting from 600+'s thread... So, you had it on the track yet? |
