This really annoyed me today…

For the past 2 months I have been working overtime in the orifice, so each week I had been taking a laptop in hooking it up to our network so I could watch both the Moto GP and the advertising parade that is F1 while I work. So today I got in at 9 and fired up the interweb straight to the BBC site to see what time the race is. I click through to the Moto GP page to be confronted with "*?*?*?*?*?*? wins in Australia". Well thanks for that.

So I then think I’ll watch it a bit later and check out the repeat time, from what I understand its either 16:00 BBC2 or 16:10 BBC1; the BBC’s own website can’t decide on what time let alone the channel. So now I’m sat here with the BBC Sport page up with the "Missed the race?" link where I can see the race via the iPlayer within 7 days. Fine that will be just dandy, the only problem is when I click it I get "no results found".

So now I’m still sat in the orifice doing another 12 hour shift with no Moto GP to keep me amused and I know the result, thank you very much BBC.

Edit: It’s finally appeared, on iPlayer. Clicking around it went from this does not exist to “watch live” in the blink of an eye. Why couldn’t they just put a link up to it in readiness letting me know what time it will come on?

But anyway they have still annoyed me as I still know the result and haven’t seen a single wheel turn.

Just imagine how much it will pee people off next year when they are the sole UK broadcaster.

Yeah, I missed it too and want to watch it, anyone know where I can?

I watch it on motogp.com, but you have to pay for it. I'm very happy with the service, though if I watch a race after it has aired, I usually have to resize my browser to a 50px square and navigate like that so I don't see any of the news on the front page! Even when you get to the video's I can't scroll too far to the left other wise I see thumbnails of the three podium winners in their after race interview videos!

I wrote to them asking for a direct link, so you can avoid all the spoilers but just got a generic "we have taken your comments into consideration...." response.

BBC still haven't put it up
