![]() ![]() Just a quicky - have been riding my 650s pointy now for about a month after battling to get it road worthy - what a fun little bike, However its just too damn small for me (6"3') and is painful in the arms. I've always quite liked the GSXF 750 soo whats it like when compared with the SVs power characteristics and handling (fun factor) thanks |

I can't speak for the GSXF (although i'd expect a totally different beast) but what I can say is that there are plenty of 6' + punters on SVs (myself included at 6'). I think if you like the general character of the bike you maybe just need to give it a bit more time. My wrists and hands ached like hell for the first while and my first full day ride just about had me in tears of pain but you do get used to it and whilst I still get sore bumcakes after a long ride, the other aches have gone.

I'm 6'1-6'2 something like that. I fitted renthal streetfighter bars to my vs, made a world of difference without so much sweep in the bars. Fits me nice now, and I'm not a small chap!

Haven't you asked this before?
From what I said there, the GSXF is one of the nicest bikes I've owned. I sold it and still have an SV650. |

I'm 6'1" and have ridden SV s for 15 years. I put in a stupid number of miles each year.
The trick is to be happy sitting up and to hold the bars with the least pressure possible. |

![]() As it happens I will have a Naked SV top yoke for the K3 onwards available for sale very soon and with the addition of some nice risers you can have a perfectly comfortable bike. ![]() |
