Default Engine Bolt Help

Hi

After my off at Killalane last year I've found out that the front off side bolt that attaches the cylinder head to the frame has bent.

This is due to my crash bung mount being attached to it.

I've had a look and they are silly money to buy a new one as they are a fine pitch thread.

So was wondering if anyone had a spare kicking around please?

If not could someone confirm the length, I reckon about 140mm, and that it is a fine pitch, as I have lost mine during the rebuild.

Thanks for your help

A hard up racer

Cheers
Stuart

Have you got a picture of the bolt you want? Or can you post the part number of the one you are after?

Pointy or Curvy or are they the same?

Hi

From what I can tell its part number 01550-10707, not sure if same for curvy and pointy, mines a pointy.

Cheers

Looks like its a different part number from the Curvy to the Pointy. I wouldn't have one from a Pointy.

Fowlers list 01550-10707 as £3.37 ex VAT.

Thanks for that, just goes to show ebay not always the cheapest place to buy.
Cheers Stuart
