Default My panic as bike wouldn't start

Got dropped of at work about 19:45 last night after a team meeting down the pub, got me gear on an went to the bike to find it wouldn't start... After a few minutes panic the battery seem fine and I was just about to pull the seat off and I remember the clutch cut out switch.
Is the leaver travelling fully back? Yes... so now I need to find something else to check the circuit. Can't find anything to wrap around the contacts so I expose a little bit of the spades and make a circuit with a small lock key I have.
Bang bike comes in to life!... of I trundle home...
Stop to get fuel... still doesn't work, have to fart **** around with key again...
Anyone got a paper clip... lol...

There is a connection under the seat on the rhs (as you sit on it) bypass the switch there and then chuck the the rest of the wire between the clutch switch and the connector. Sorted! nice and neat

I would like to point out that wd40 and gaffa tape would not have helped me in this situation.

you could have gaffa taped the key in place to save messing about at the poetrol station

I'm using a split pin at the mo .

Got any pics of this connector as I'm not sure which one this is? Also would that disable the side stand switch or is this routed else where?
