I should have some. Remind me tomorrow evening if I haven't got back to you. Buy me a pint when you see me .

If you have tank spacers that lift the tank up then you don't need them as they will not touch the frame!

I should have some too, I take them off my tanks since like Billy says they don't touch down. No idea if they do anything or not, I haven't died as a result of removing them, but perhaps I will tomorrow

What kind of super-snot glue do they use to hold them in place?

Took forever to persuade them to let go of the tank when i sprayed it. So i chopped at em with a craft knife in the end.

I'd say they are just there to stabilise the tank a little more than relying on the front rubbers alone.

Agreed, struggled to pry mine off too!!

The rubbers don't do anything once you lift the tank at the front though, with standard rubbers they just about touch the frame.

Yes. They are there to stop vibration from the frame to the tank. I lost one from my CBR once while doing some work and would get some buzzing on left hand turns. Traced it to the rubber not being there and was cured when I replaced it.

But as others have said if the tank is rased then there will not be a problem as the tank shouldn't touch the frame at all.
