Default Ideal Commuter Bike?

Have you seen this on eBay (warning some of the photos in this link can be classed at technical pornography)?

Any well it got me wondering...

How would you go about putting something like this on the road, and how great would it be to have a GP bike as your everyday commuting machine?

Err... you might want to fit an alarm to it.

Have you got an insurance quote? Would cost a pretty penny I bet.

I think a top box would spoil the lines somewhat.......

Firstly you need to get a Motorcycle Single Vehicle Approval
Then you can register it.
For a daytime MOT you need a horn and a numberplate and thats about it
Might be prudent to fit a speedo too.

Insurance - good luck !

Surely you wouldn't give up your immaculate SV two tone coloured rarity for that Honda thingy, SH? Nah, can't believe you would! Maybe as a winter hack?

Similar to the one Leon Haslam rode, but what about the price? That bike was never competitive,so why should it be worth so much?
No bids mind.

Just "TSM it" and lean it up against walls/petrol pumps/etc.
