SV650/1000 tank.

Does anyone know if the fuel tank from the sv1000 will fit the sv650?

Going by the part numbers here and here my guess is yes, they should fit.

But this begs the question what have you done?

how much more juice does the sv1000 tank hold... maybe could use it as a psuedo-endurance-tank for the 650?

Think the point of them being confirmed as interchangeable above, was that they are identical

I think that generally is the idea of the SV1000 to be identical & interchangeable as the sv650 as possible to save money with the obvious exception of the engine & anything required to cope with the increased power such as brakes, suspension etc.

they are identical and hold the same.
