but because its white doesnt that mean it will make the room echoey anyway or is the thickness of the paint that makes a difference not the colour

i find B&Q own make of paint is pants, and if you are covering a blue wall with white paint (i think thats what i saw) it will take at least 3 coats

IMO

i think its best to pay a bit extra for the better makes

B&Q paint will be fine unless it's the value/budget stuff as that's a bit thin,
for a big colour change you will need a few coats of normal emulsion or you need to use base coat which will cover the darkest of colours with 1 coat

it looks a little better this morning but still not great! i dont know whether to give it another coat and risk making it worse or do i leave it now for phil to do??!!
