This doesn't make sense to me. My 750 costs £150 tpft. That's not the sort of premium that suggests they're having problems covering costs. I suspect it's just that one insurance company decided they personally can't compete with other insurers premiums for the 750 because they've had a disproportionate share of payouts and the statisical formulas are now saying no.

Exactly.
And it's probably also targeted at young riders who went for the 750 as a way to save money over the insurance on the thousand. |

Nope, but as I've seen last years, and the year before that, and the year before that I think I've seen this one. However don't get me wrong the GSXR is a cracking bike, its just that the newer ones look the all the same.
Back to the subject of insurance I doubt that no company will touch them its just that they will cost a little more. Which is a shame as if I were to own one (and occasionally I live dangerously with a combination of late nights, alcohol and eBay) I would have the 750 from the mid 2000's. |

Yep mine added £25 to the SV for my remaining 6 months of insurance. I can see them raising the group of the new ones, but the SRAD is old enough to be a modern classic
